Driving is honestly one of the things that scare the daylights out of me. I could never picture myself behind a wheel without imagining the next series of happenings, like perhaps crashing straight into a pole. After I went to London for my studies, I noticed how solid their road system was. Despite a lot of them complaining about certain things, I have to give them that. You’d hardly see people unnecessarily changing lanes, let alone oddly parking their super cars in the middle of everywhere. Believe it or not, if you’ve travelled to places like India, you’d know what mad driving truly means.
But having to be ranked as the country with the lowest traffic fatality rate of all the 34 OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development) countries in 2012 means that there’s a lot of things you need to learn before you get to drive your car in the roads of UK. There are a lot of driving schools where they’d make learning to drive so much easier but which one was the right one for me?
I thought I’d share a tip on choosing the right driving schools for young female learners like me. One thing that you should keep in mind, every driving school has an insurance but not all of them will insure you. For instance, Car Insurance 101 would protect not just you but as well as the third parties around you. You don’t want to crash on that Porsche, only to bear all of its costs! Specially if you’re driving in London, seeing a supercar every minute is like seeing a bird in the sky.
So if you’re like me, a 20 year old girl who’d rather get on the train every morning and run for the bus every afternoon, driving might be the last thing you’d want to do. But give it a shot, try it for one day and you’ll be surprised at how exciting it might just be!
