Oh, Pork Chops.<3 I’ve always loved it ever since I was a child. I would often eat it with rice since it was the easiest way to cook the chops. Little did I know there are so many things you can do with them, thanks to my friend who’s an amazing cook for introducing me to this recipe! I can now eat my favourite food without worrying about calories!
GRILLED CHILLI LEMON PORK CHOPS
Ingredients: 2 Large Pork Chops
1 tbsp chilli powder
1 tbsp fresh lime juice
1 tsp soy sauce
1/2 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp Olive Oil
Salt and Pepper to taste
Method: Preheat the oven at 400°F.
Meanwhile, season pork chops with salt and pepper.
In a medium bowl, mix soy sauce with chilli powder, lime juice and sugar.
Rub the mixture on the chops.
Add olive oil on a skillet and braise pork for 2 minutes, both sides.
Place the skillet in preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes depending on tenderness.
Braise pork with left over sauce if needed.
Serve with crunchy green salad! 🙂
