It’s sad that all good things come to an end. My stay at the O Hotel, Pune was truly magical and I wish I didn’t have to come back into reality but that is just the beauty of life. With my exams approaching, I was overly stressed to the point that I wanted to rip my books and buy myself a ticket to somewhere so far away. But of course, things don’t work out like that so I took a break instead!

If you know me, then you’d know hotels and I are best friends. You’d find me living the high life at some 5* hotel or enjoying the simple life at some secluded rundown place. Either way, I always come home feeling like a new person!

My recent hotel hopping experience was at this luxury business hotel in Pune called The O Hotel. Honestly, I’ve never heard of it before but I’m glad I tried it out. Situated in the infamous Koregaon Park, you basically know what you’re going to get before you even set foot there. The normal tariff per night would be somewhere around $100 but because I am a regular hotel goer, I got a discount (I don’t remember the exact amount) but if you’re going to stay there, I would suggest carry more than that because you’re going to spend at least 3x the room rate if you want to fully enjoy what they offer!

The room was beautifully designed with a stunning, unexpected tub in the corner right before the shower cabinet. Perfect for a romantic night with your partner if you choose the Deluxe Suite. Unfortunately, I didn’t have much time to take pictures and I only carried my iPhone so bear with me with pictures from their website!  Although they are exactly as they market them to be!

You can also watch the one minute tour on their website, link will be provided at the bottom.

Updating my Instagram before dipping in the tub!

For Dinner, I went to the rooftop lounge called “Addah”. It’s so beautiful and relaxing, you’ve got the choice to sit under the stars while you dip your feet in the water and enjoy their Indian cuisine! Expect somewhere around Rs. 3k for a meal for 2 and if you’re up for drinks/shots then expect to pay around Rs. 10k.

Tip: Because it’s so conveniently located, you don’t have to splurge on food. You can grab some food at the popular German Bakery right across the street!

I went to bed at around 3AM because I just didn’t want the night to end. You can request a late check out like I did if you wish to wake up late! I missed my breakfast because I woke up at 11pm (oops) but there should be a buffet if you wake up on time. 😉

Lunch was amazing. The best Japanese restaurant in town was apparently the Harajuku. It’s a bit pricey but oooh, it’s worth it! I ordered a sushi set and the Teppanyaki bento meal. I paid around Rs. 4k plus taxes but I definitely enjoyed every bite.

Well, it was indeed delightful to have stayed at the O Hotel and I would easily recommend it to those who’d like to unwind but do not want to go too far out of the city. Perhaps drop by their spa to completely pamper yourself! Anyways, I wish had more pictures to share but I believe in enjoying the things rather than constantly cling onto my camera.
